Whammo, Microsoft decides to download a bunch of patches on their software on my sys - unfortunately - for me - they downloaded patches for software I didn't have. My OS did not like this at all - sooooooo, when I brought sys up the next morning, I get this DOS window and "safe mode" - let the fun games begin...

So the best plans of mice and men can be hijacked by Mr. Gates and friends [or should I say "fiends"] I would not wish this past week and a half on my worst enemy. MS tech support was of absolutely no use - even once you get someone you can understand, it is slow going and the techs just love to read a script - not interested in what the actual problem is or that MS caused it. So needless to say, updating my fractal image display got lost by the wayside.

I finally got out on net today, came here and read, viewed all the messages, deviations. I want to thank all the lovely individuals who faved some of my work. A big group "THANK YOU" for liking my work and faving it. That was a lovely touch to my grueling day rebuilding OS.

Hope everyone is enjoying lovely fall weather, not too cold yet. And I wish everyone a hearty Thanksgiving holiday!

Oh, one interesting item for Apophysis group here - the only software that worked on my system was Apo - go figure. I could create, save image; could not render tho as I save everything in PSPXI and that was corrupted to the max. Isn't APO amazing...
